The Original Pancake Brand Welding Hood, Inc. is a family owned and operated business for the past thirty years. We manufacture top quality pancake welding hoods that have been used extensively in the pipeline welding industry. Our reputation has spread through word of mouth to other welding fields which include: individuals, small business, and welding supply distributors. Our lightweight pancake welding hoods are precision handcrafted from phenolic, balsa, and pine woods. They have a contoured balsa box ready for custom-fitting. They are of a one-piece pressure formed phenolic faceplate and folded ear guard design. All models accept "cheater" lenses, and have easy side or bottom loading with closures. Our most popular models are Z-87.1 ANSI Approved and OSHA Accepted. Smaller models are available; however, they do not provide the approved and accepted coverage (listed as Old Style on website).
